Season 3 Anime Log Horizon Delayed Until January 2021

After previously announced to be present in October 2020, the 3rd season of anime Log Horizon has been confirmed to be delayed due to COVID-19 pandemic. The adventures of Shiroe and his new friends will continue in January 2020. Not only that, NHK also released a visual key from the anime which had boomed a few years ago.

Log Horizon tells the story of at least 30,000 people trapped in the Elder Tale game. They are looking for ways to survive and try to return to their original world. This anime is based on Light Novel by Mamare Touno and made by Studio Deen.

Shinji Ishihara directed the anime at DEEN Studio while Shoji Masuda was the supervision of the whole story. Toshizo Nemoto worked on the script. Shoji Hata was the sound director and Yasuharu Takanashi composed his music.

Although the anime production itself was in 2013 and 2014, in 2015 the novel writer was actually caught because of a tax case. Touno was sentenced to 10 months in prison. But afterwards, he continued the Light Novel.

Staff and voices from the previous season will also join the anime this time.
