AMD Ryzen 3000XT Series Release Date and Price

Through its official website, AMD has just announced its newest lineup for their Ryzen 3000 Series processor family, the 3000XT Series. Using the Zen-2 architecture, the Ryzen 3000XT Series comes with a higher clock frequency with an average increase of around 100-200MHz compared to its predecessor. There are three variants for the Ryzen 3000XT Series, which is Ryzen 5 3600XT, Ryzen 7 3800XT, and Ryzen 9 3900XT.

 

  • Ryzen 5 3600XT comes with 6-core / 12-threads, has a base clock at 3.8GHz and boost frequency at 4.5GHz and TDP at 95W.
  • Ryzen 7 3800XT comes with 8-core / 16-threads, has a base clock at 3.9GHz and boost frequency at 4.7GHz and TDP at 105W.
  • Ryzen 9 3900XT comes with 12-core / 24-threads, has a base clock at 3.8GHz and boost frequency at 4.7GHz and TDP at 105W, same as Ryzen 7 3800XT.

In addition, AMD also announced a new low-end motherboard that also supports PCIe 4.0 features like the B550, the A520. A520 itself still comes with AM4 sockets and supports all Ryzen 3000 Series families.

For the price, Ryzen 5 3600XT is priced at $ 249, Ryzen 7 3800XT is at $ 399, and the highest, Ryzen 9 3900Xt is at $ 499. These three processors will be released globally on July 7th 2020.
