An unexpected surprise came from Sucker Punch, the developer of Ghost of Tsushima. Reportedly Sucker Punch is preparing for Ghost of Tsushima: Legends, a Co-op Multiplayer Update for Ghost of Tsushima.
The Legends Update will not follow the story of Jin Sakai and his friends, but rather four warriors who are known through the Tsushima folklore. If Ghost of Tsushima’s Singleplayer mode focuses on Open World and the beauty of its Landscapes, Legends mode will focus on the nuances of the location and the terrible and mystical enemies of the Japanese folklore.
Sucker Punch explains that this mode will focus on Co-Op with a scale of 2-4 people that can be played with friends or other players through Matchmaking. Players can choose one of the four classes available, namely Samurai, Hunter, Ronin, and Assassin. Each class has unique and different Abilities and Skills.
In the two-player Co-Op Mode, you can play Co-Op Story, which increases in difficulty and requires strong teamwork, with Combat like Singleplayer mode but modified to suit the Co-Op style. Meanwhile, in the Four Players Co-Op Mode, you can play the Wave Survival mode, which will confront you with the strongest enemies in Tsushima, including a new type of enemy with supernatural powers, namely Oni. You can also play Raid Mode with 3 other people. In Raid mode, your team will be faced with various Challenges and combat which are of course very challenging.
This update can be played directly if you have the game and PS Plus membership to play online. You can download this update for free at the end of 2020.
